Planning outfits for a short work trip
My next business trip involves three days of meetings, so I want a compact wardrobe with a few useful combinations. I already have navy trousers and a grey jacket, plus comfortable shoes for the walks between our meeting locations. The difficulty is choosing tops that work together without making every outfit look almost identical. To give my question some context, I have been looking into color analysis but I would rather test combinations with my actual clothes than buy everything in a suggested seasonal palette. Would a lighter shirt and a deeper knit make a useful pair, or should their tones stay fairly similar? There is also an informal dinner, and I would like to use the same jacket without looking dressed for another meeting. If you were working with these pieces and limited luggage space, which two outfit decisions would you settle first?
