OK — been on this thing for about five months now and it's stuck on my phone, so thought I'd say something since someone asked me the other day. I'm in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. I'd just eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I'm on daily — type in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at free single bet calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely changed how I bet was the geekier extras. The odds-to-probability thing that shows how much the bookie's taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too if I'm spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. Its interface is a bit basic — no polish, which honestly I don't mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, it's a website and that's it — slight shame but you asked.

Right, that's me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me a fair few dumb bets I'd have regretted.
